Tasks
Structural Assembly
- Assemble aircraft components and structures in accordance with technical drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Perform drilling, riveting, fitting, reaming, and precision assembly operations
- Install and adjust structural subassemblies (panels, frames, stringers, etc.)
- Inspect completed assemblies, identify non-conformities, and perform required corrections
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, tolerances, and safety requirements
Maintenance – Structures (AME-S)
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft structures (fuselage, wings, empennage, airframe components)
- Perform structural repairs (sheet metal, composite repairs, minor and major repairs) in accordance with approved manuals (SRM, AMM)
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft structural sections
- Accurately document all work performed in compliance with regulatory requirements (Transport Canada / TCCA)
- Participate in scheduled inspections and heavy maintenance (MRO) activities
- Ensure full traceability and airworthiness compliance of all maintenance tasks
Required qualifications
- Diploma in Aircraft Structural Assembly or Aircraft Maintenance (AME program)
- Relevant experience in structural assembly and/or aircraft structural maintenance
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals (AMM, SRM)
- Proficiency with hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements
- High attention to detail, precision, and analytical mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a team within a structured, deadline-driven environment
- TCCA License (an asset – Category S preferred)
