Our history

Founded in 1992, TAS has grown steadily over the years to establish itself as a reliable recruitment firm. In 2025, the organization entered a new phase of development under the leadership of Nicolaas Loerakker and Michel Boucher, two passionate and highly experienced talent acquisition professionals. Under their leadership, TAS continues to advance its mission with rigour and commitment, prioritizing service excellence and a human-centred approach while actively supporting the company’s growth. As part of this transition, TAS has expanded its service offering to include IT talent acquisition and international recruitment, responding even more comprehensively to client needs.

Responsible for client relations, Michel stands out for his authenticity, leadership and proven ability to deliver complex, large-scale talent initiatives. Known for fostering strong, lasting relationships built on trust, he plays a central role in TAS’s strategic development and in supporting companies seeking highly specialized talent.

Co-President

Nicolaas Loerakker, Co-President of TAS, drives the organization’s growth, innovation and strategic evolution. He leads TAS’s expansion in the technology, industrial and aerospace industries while strengthening operational excellence and enhancing the customer experience.

Before joining TAS, Nicolaas built an impressive career in business development, team leadership and specialized recruitment. With more than 20 years of experience, he has a proven track record of structuring high-growth organizations, attracting highly specialized professionals and establishing long-term partnerships with Canadian companies.
